The best times to practice meditation is first thing in the morning before you sip your cup of coffee (but after you've gotten up and washed your face) and in the evening before dinner.
Give your self some time and sit in silence, closing your eyes. A good healthy habit to get into is to turn off all your technology devices 10 to 30 minutes before going to bed. Looking at the screen can disrupt your sleeping pattern and is even associated with the duration of sleep, as shown in research (1).
Enjoy the sunrise in the mornings by taking a jog down the block. Substitute jogging for biking. Invest in a set of jump ropes and perform jumping jacks in your best convenience. Walk with your dog. A good way to freshen yourself and reduce stress is to take a shower (1).
Be very careful about the temperature. If the water is blazingly hot it can actually worsen and damage your hair health, as well as your skin. A good strategy people use (along with myself) is to turn down the temperature two minutes before the end of my shower. This short burst of coldness will close your pores and hair follicles, which is a commonly known trick to wake you up instantly.

It's a good habit to look around when you're walking to a destination. Put your phone away and consciously allow your eyes to wander about. Notice all the details, appreciate and quickly notice the architectural achievements. Its a good way to live a happier life when you're actually paying attention to the things you might normally ignore in those moments and appreciate what's around you. Before you go inside anywhere, pause one last time and look up. This last simple second can make a difference!

It can even help slim your body in many ways. Although everyone is different, adults generally require 7 to 8.5 hours of sleep per night.
